The intellect shootbolt by greenteQ is part of the iQ range of products that work with Kubu to link windows and doors to domestic smart home networks. The Kubu app gives the consumer a host of real benefits, including security and comfort alerts, and the ability to connect windows to other elements of the network, including lighting, heating etc.
Intellect is a non-crop shootbolt, consisting of a central gearbox and a range of shootbolt extensions that cover sash rebate sizes from 450 – 1800mm. The extensions are supplied as singles, with each window sash requiring one straight action and one reverse action shootbolt extension.
Intellect is suitable for both single sash windows, and double sash French casement windows.
Adjustable mushroom bolt cams (MB) in the middle of the window and adjacent to the projecting shootbolts ensure good weather proofing and effective burglar resistance.
As well as providing proven home protection (Intellect is tested to PAS24), the product is extremely smooth in operation. Intellect utilises modern, strong, low-friction materials, and a clever keep design guides the mushroom bolts into position.
The projecting shootbolts are made from steel-reinforced ultra-low friction polymer, which locate into shootbolt/mushroom bolt combination keeps of the same material. The mushroom night vent strikers and French casement shootbolt keeps are produced from zinc.
Covered by the greenteQ 10-year guarantee.
