The Securitas is the outward opening window security window espagnolette from the top quality greenteQ range.
Securitas features pairs of mushroom headed cams that lock into both sides of a night vent striker plate. These double cam locking points are extremely strong as they spread the load if the window is attacked rather than allowing all the force to be concentrated on one point.
Each Securitas has a minimum of 4 mushroom cams (2 pairs) with the larger sizes boasting 4 pairs.
Securitas is as quick to fit as a standard espagnolette as all fixings are applied in the same direction and there are no extensions to fit.
Securitas is available in 8 lengths starting from 300mm going up to 1200mm. It comes with industry standard 20 and 22mm backsets and with a choice of 7.7 or 9mm high mushroom cams.
Securitas has been successfully tested on a number of profiles to PAS24:2016 at BSI.
Securitas has been awarded Police Preferred Specification status by Secured by Design.
